Connecting with each other and the land

We are connected to each other and to the land and to history. We are and the stewards of today and the ancestors of tomorrow.

We are deeply grateful to Phillip Martin, Jr. “Chopper”, Quinault Indian Nation Natural Resources Department (retired), for sharing his stories and expertise about our interconnectedness to each other and to the environment.

As we work to transform ourselves to create nonviolent social change, we must remember that we are part of the family of nature as well as the human family. What affects one directly affects all indirectly and other living things are part of our World House.
