We are grateful to Kent City Councilmember Brenda Fincher for dialoging with our youth leaders and staff in an online leadership seminar. Her dedication to public service, her experience across many organizations and communities are inspiring.
Brenda Fincher is a Kent, WA, City Councilmember. She works at Holy Spirit Parish in downtown Kent, but her community work doesn’t stop there. She has also volunteered for various organizations, including W.H.O.M.E women’s shelter, the board and care teams of MultiFaith Works, President of the Kent Youth and Family Services board, Member of the Kent School District Diversity Task Force where she was a contributing author to the district’s original Diversity Task Force Plan, Vice chair of the King Conservation District Advisory Committee on the Mental Illness and Drug Dependency Oversight Committee and an organizer of the Kent International Festival among others.
