The Institute had the honor and privilege of meeting with civil rights attorney, pastor, and activist Fred Gray in Tuskegee, Alabama, who reaffirmed our view that we must trust in our system and teach our peers to not just vote, but to vote effectively, in order to impact long-term change.

ICL has two students (one from Kent and one from Tacoma), Dr. Karen Bohlke (ICL’s Director of Government and External Relations), and David Gaines (ICL Board of Directors).
