“What do you think makes a leader?”
Sharon Cornu spent time with our youth and staff in an online seminar discussing the qualities that make leaders and the important interconnections between leadership and management.
Sharon Cornu is a respected organizational leader providing high-quality leadership development, strategic communications and community engagement services to advocacy, non-profit and social enterprise organizations. Cornu is known for innovative, results-driven strategies, communications and collective impact in diverse sectors. Two decades’ experience in advocacy on economic security and equity provide deep insight into winning while building stronger organizations. She is currently Executive Director of St. Mary’s Center, providing essential services to improve the quality of life for at-risk seniors and preschoolers in Oakland.
ICL continues to turn on a dime, increasing our online classes and sessions during the stay-at-home order. We are bringing experts from around the world with feet-on-the-ground experience in organizing, civic engagement and public service together with our youth and staff.
This is an excellent time to study the relevance and importance of transforming ourselves to make change in the world.
